Tokyo Japanese Hibachi in Myrtle Beach

Eat here all the time.. friendly people, great staff, and awsome food.

We have a great hibachi place back home and a good drive thru hibachi, but when i saw this place I wasn't sure. We originally wanted Nakato's but it was just too crowded. So we passed and went some place else. Then I just wanted it so much we went 2 days later, it was amazing! My family always orders the trio of chicken, steak and shrimp plus appetizers and California rolls. It was very good with huge portions of meat, even the shrimp and it was so cheap! I would have liked my rice with egg, sprouts and onion like I'm used too and they deep fried the gyosas instead of pan fried but other than that totally satisfied. This place is great and affordable!

This is my Favorite Hibachi Place EVER!! Food is Delicious and The Prices are Affordable too! The People and Owners are Amazing and Super Friendly Me & My Family eat there at Least Once a Week usually 2x haven't found one dish we haven't liked. The spring rolls are better than the egg rolls though so yummy... I tell everyone about it and everyone I've told has tried it and loved it!! Go and See you won't be Disappointed

Took our family here while on vacation. We eat Japanese often and this was delicious. The food had incredible flavor (chicken, shrimp and steak). The gentleman taking orders was so sweet to our children: changed the channel on the tv for them and brought our 1 year old his own little bowl even when we didn't order it. Would highly recommend!

Looks old and depressing inside. Bathrooms not clean. Water had an odd taste and food was ok but not great. Don't recommend.

This place on the outside doesnt look great but the owner the service the food are all very very cheap for what you get. Everything was delicious the owner actually cared about how everything was. I will be back repeatedly. I am a local and this is my new spot.

The food was amazing reminded me of Tokyo in conyers. The reasturant could use an update but the hospitality was great, made it worth the drive.

I always get a shrimp bowl teriaki. It's always good. And the price is reasonably low.

It was great the guy speaks quietly so ya gotta listen carefully. but it dont look like the prettiest place to eat but trust me, give the food a chance. its good at a great price it was 25 bucks for 2 people. where else ya gonna find that at the beach?

Smallish portions for the price, but the taste is above average.

Thought I would give it another chance and I wasn't at all impressed. Please save your money and go to a better Japanese place.

We are here on vacation and wanted a quick bite. My boyfriend, who is extremely hard to please with oriental food of any kind, loved the meal. We loved our food so much we ate here twice on our vacation. The guy who was there the first time remembered us the second time and was a helpful and sweet man each time. It's a shame we don't have this nice service, tasty food, and decent prices back home. If and when we come back to Myrtle Beach we WILL eat here again!!

I had a fillet hibachi. I can concur with an earlier appraisal the meat was somewhat mysterious in origin, but I would not be able to deduce it was the roving rat referred to earlier; the pieces were too big, but it may have been a rat sauce, as I imagine this might be how rat tastes. The texture of the meat was odd, and a bit chewier that one would anticipate. He charged for a soda, but then said I didn't order one. The proprietor didn't understand our order, my son got salad shrimp and scallops,

the food was OK. The mens rooms smelled so badly that my 3 year old son wouldn't go in!The sushi rolls were overprices and the 1/2 blind Japanese man who made them took longer to make the two rolls than the rice bowls!

Had hibachi here a few times. There are better places in Myrtle, but it's close to my jobs so i'd go back for that. Although, I had their shrimp tempura roll today and it wasn't even edible. $15 in the garbage. Won't be getting sushi here again

My fiance and i went there couple days ago. It was not good. Cooking was slow. Food wasnt done all the way. I got the steak and shrimpb bowel. They didnt give me any steak or shrimp. I was disapointed. I love japanese food. This place was not good at all. If you looking to get a bunch of food or looking to get full. Dont come here

The food is very good and flavorful I would recommend anyone to go here. They are very affordable, and even have a drive through for convenience. This is my new place in Myrtle Beach. I recommend the steak chicken and shrimp with broccoli.

The food was good but the bathrooms here are disgusting. Like I gagged as soon as I walked into them because it smelled so bad and The hand soap looked like it had ran out and the bottle had just been filled with water again so I felt just as nasty as the bathroom was

Watch out!!! They have to be writing their own reviews if they are good. What a rip off. $42.00 for two people? We ordered filet and shrimp and whatever that mystery meat they brought us was, it was not filet and when we questioned the waitress about it she never even came back to the table. Careful, they are selling some kinda of cheap horse meat and claiming it is steak! That's why other people say it is so salty in their reviews. They are attempting to tenderize this meat and pass it off as what their menu says it is. We will never and I repeat never eat there again. Hope they get what's coming to them...soon!! We can only hope people heed our advise and eat elsewhere. You won't be sorry you didn't go there but I can about assure you that you will be sorry if you do go there. Bob form N.C.

This little place is a great choice! It has recently got a new facelift, maybe a new owner? i been eating here for years, at first it was so so at times, but they have had it right for a couple of years now. I eat the chicken and beef normally, and they don't over cook the chicken like most places, I love the Korean Ribs! so good! and i always get the noodles in place of the rice, i love the big thick udon noodles! This is not fast food, they cook each meal to order, so its hot fresh and great! They even have a drive thru for those who don't want to get out of the car!

I went through the drive thru window n we had to CALL IN ORDER TO GET ANY HELP... Finally man comes to window and he can barely move n talk. I ordered MISO SOUP AND FRIED RICE...it was disgusting!! The worst food ever...... I literally threw out the FOOD.. AND GAGGED!!! Do not spend your money or taste buds on this place!!! HORRIBLE HORRIBLE... EEWWWHHHHHH YUCK!!

The foods okay I guess but the shrimp could have been cooked more, place does look old and has a weird smell also there was no sweet tea or any tea for that matter.. GO TO BAMBOO HIBACHI AND WINGS

Fried rice tasted like rubber and the steak seems to be some kind of dog food but everyone is really high and nice

Stopped in at the spare of the moment and though at first I was skeptical, when my order was done the owner I'm assuming, showed me my food to assure my standards was met and they not only met my standards but exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend to try Tokyo's chicken bowl with the white rice and veggies. I will be back for sure. This is a great restaurant for those who enjoy the hole in the wall spots to dine at, like myself.

I'm a local and eat here all the time, there is not one thing on the menu that is not delicious, my favorite is the chicken and shrimp bowl. The prices are very good, especially for lunch.

I get lunch here all the time. I get the chicken Hibachi once a week. Its filling with rice and veg ($7). I never get the steak so I can not comment on it. but I think its pretty good

The smell is almost overwhelming when you walk in the door. A little hesitant to eat because of them smell but the reviews about the food were all pretty much good. I had teriyaki chicken, fiance had salmon. Both plates were really good. It was affordable. The smell is almost unbearable though.

The steak was smelly and not fresh the Chicken was rubbery and the veggies nasty . I didnt even eat it. Waste of $10 ...go to jimmyz

My husband and I have been coming here for 5 years. The food is absolutely amazing. We live in Charlotte now and will still come down just to come eat here. The owners are simply amazing. They are the nicest people I have ever met. If you want good Japanese hibachi this is definitely the place to go!

We eat here several times a week when in Myrtle. The food is delicious, the portions are generous and the price is right. I always get the steak, chicken and shrimp Hibachi lunch. Great every time! The only con is that their bathrooms need help and the smell is on blast. If not for that, an easy five stars, but even with that it is still worth going

This location is awesome. My wife and I went here for our 5th wedding anniversary for lunch and loved it so much that we came back for dinner. The price, portion size, and service is excellent. Don't sleep on this place. We had the shrimp and salmon both times we came.

Good steak bowls with a fair price. The place needs better cleaning and maintenance of the bathrooms because you can smell them all over the place and that's not very sanitary.
